The Chinese gadget company, Xiaomi launched its first home based product in India Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 in India. The all new Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 priced at Rs. 9,999 will be available from 26th September via Mi’s official website and from 2nd October via Flipkart. Xiaomi also launched its second generation fitness band Mi Band 2 in India for Rs. 1,999.
The all new Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 works on Mi Home application, users can get the application for free in there relevant Android and iPhone apps stores. Xiaomi claims that it can also use by remote access via Wi-Fi. The App also give reminder to change your filter time to time.
For specifications, Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 features a triple layer filter which required to replace in every 6 months. The triple layer filter is fitted with a 360-degree cylindrical shape for filtering, which features three layers of filters named PET pre-filter, EPA filter and activated carbon filter. The filter is priced at Rs. 2,499.
Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 has three modes of operation auto, night and manual apart from regulating fan speed. It also provides you real time air quality monitoring on humidity and temperature. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity and measures 520x240x240 mm, weighs 4.8kg.
