Xiaomi Redmi Y1, the best budget smartphone launched in India with 3080mAh battery, 13-Megapixel rear camera and 5.5-inch HD display. The device comes with a price tag of Rs.8,999 for 3GB RAM+32GB ROM. There is another variant of the smartphone 4GB RAM+64GB ROM priced at Rs. 10,999. It will be available via Amazon India and slated to go on sale via Amazon and Mi.com on November 8.

The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 sports a bigger 5.5-inch HD with a resolution of (720 x 1280 pixels) display along with  Corning Gorilla Glass protection and supports Dual Nano SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB port backed by a 3080mAh battery and comes with a IR blaster.

It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 435 SoC with Adreno 505 GPU and runs on Google’s Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS MIUI 9.0 on top. The smartphone measures 153×76.2×7.7mm and weighs 153 grams.

The major Highlights of this phone is Redmi Y1 sport a 13-MP rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and 16-MP front-facing camera with LED flash, aperture f/2.0 and a 764-degree wide-angle lens.
